OSWEGO, N.Y. – The 2022-23 Women’s hockey campaign is set to start in less than two weeks. The Lakers are coming off a 16-8-1 season with a Northeast Women’s Hockey League (NEWHL) record of 13-4-1. With a 15-game home schedule, there will be plenty of chances to see the team play this year. For the second year, admission will once again be free for all regular season home games through the continued support of Oswego Health.

The season will begin with the annual Pink the Rink game for an exhibition contest against the London Devilettes on October 15th at 6:00 pm at the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall. Oswego will also play host to the Adrian Bulldogs on October 28th and 29th. NEWHL Conference play will begin on November 12th against Morrisville State. The only home game in December will bring rival and perennial conference favorite Plattsburgh to campus for a 3:00 pm faceoff. In all the Laker squad will host 9 conference games this season.
