OSWEGO, N.Y. — The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team has announced its 2021-22 slate, which features 25 regular-season games and two exhibitions. Of those 27 total games, nearly half will be played at home with the Lakers hosting 13 contests at the Deborah F. Stanley Campus Center Arena.
Oswego will play an 18-game Northeast Women’s Hockey League (NEWHL) schedule, as the league expanded to seven teams in 2019-20 with the addition of Morrisville and SUNY Canton. The Lakers will face-off with each of the six conference opponents three times during the campaign.
Postseason action is scheduled to begin on February 26 with the NEWHL Championship semifinal round.
