The Hamilton College Continentals went up one spot to No. 5 in this week’s USCHO.com Division III Women’s Hockey Top 15 poll released on Monday, Feb. 13.
Hamilton is 17-3-2 overall after the Continentals defeated then-nationally ranked No. 15 Connecticut College in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) games in Connecticut on Feb. 10 and 11. Saturday’s victory set a team record for most in a season. Hamilton is unbeaten in its last nine games and has outscored opponents 30-8 during that stretch.
Nancy Loh ’23, this week’s NESCAC Co-Player of the Week, leads the team with 16 goals and 20 points. Claire McGennis ’24 and defender Abby Kuhns ’23 share the team lead with 12 assists apiece. Evie Sheridan ’26 has a record of 11-2-1 in goal with a 1.21 goals against average and .950 save percentage in 14 starts.
The Continentals wrap up the regular season with conference games at home against No. 7 Middlebury College on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.
