UTICA, NY- The Utica University women’s ice hockey team moved up to the number 13 spot in this week’s US College Hockey Online Women’s Top 15. The poll was released on Monday by the national college hockey website.
Utica improves on its #14 ranking in last week’s poll.
The team improved its overall record to 8-1-1 after a trio of victories last week while moving to 7-0-1 in UCHC play after a weekend sweep of Alvernia.
The Pioneers will return to the ice on Friday, January 6 when the team travels to Worcester State University. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
