Vachon Scores Lone Goal In Loss

Arnaud Vachon scored the lone goal in a 2-1 ECAC Hockey loss to St. Lawrence Thursday evening. The penalty filled affair extended the Raiders loss/tie streak to 4 games.

St. Lawrence scored goals in each of the first two periods before Vachon finally broke through in the third for Colgate. Vachon picked up a pass from Trevor Cosgrove and carried the puck behind the net. Vachon rounded the net and turned and fired a shot from between the goal line and bottom of the circle that found the back of the net.

Despite a few chances late in the period the Raiders were unable to find the equalizer. Andrew Farrier was in net and finished with 20 saves.
