USPHL Weekend Wrap-Up (1/14/19)

USPHL Weekend Recap

Saturday, January 12th

Syracuse Stars 14-14-2
New Jersey Rockets 15-12-2

Syracuse was ahead 1-0 after the first period when the game was postponed. Thank you to Don and Lisa who provided me with information about the postponement.

The Zamboni broke down while attempting to get on the ice in between the first and second period. While it was being pushed off by another Zamboni, the blade fell which left a decent sized divot in the ice behind the Rockets goal. After trying for over an hour to repair it the Referee deemed the ice unsafe and the game was postponed.
