Saturday, November 10th
The Stars traveled to take on first place Jersey Hitmen over the weekend and got their doors absolutely blown off.
Syracuse Stars (8-9-2) – 0
Jersey Hitmen (16-4-0) – 7
Jersey fired 62 shots at Stars goalie Nick Wiencek who made 55 saves in the loss. Syracuse only managed 22 shots on net.
Sunday, November 11th
Syracuse Stars (8-10-2) – 2
Jersey Hitmen (17-4-0) – 10
This game wasn’t quite as bad with Syracuse firing 36 shots on net versus the Hitmen’s 49. David Otter was in goal making 39 saves in the loss. Syracuse found themselves down 6-0 before Griffen Sanom got the visitors on the board 13 minutes into the second period. Gregory McGunigle scored another halfway through the third to make the score 9-2 in favor of Jersey. The Hitmen added their 10th goal late in the third.
The Stars are back on the ice this weekend for three games in the Islanders HC Showcase in Massachusetts.

Saturday, November 10th
Syracuse Stars (9-8-1) – 2
Jersey Hitmen (10-7-1) – 5
The Hitmen got out to a quick 1-0 lead only 31 seconds into the game and then extended that lead to 2-0 halfway through the period. Solandis Pak scored an unassisted goal midway through the second to bring the Stars back within one. The Hitmen responded 2:30 later to go ahead 3-1. Dalton Blundell pulled the Stars within one on a goal assisted by Henry Froass and Cody O’Brien, but it wouldn’t be enough. Jersey added two more to seal the 5-2 victory. Tripp Clarke stopped 22 in the loss.
Sunday, November 11th
Syracuse Stars (9-9-1) – 0
Jersey Hitmen (11-7-1) – 2
The Stars went 0 for 7 on the power-play while only managing 19 shots on net the entire game. Jersey scored with 43 seconds left in the first period and again with 5:20 left in the third. Aleksandr Solovev stopped 24 Jersey shots.
The Premier team will also be traveling to Massachusetts to participate in the Islanders HC Showcase this weekend. They play two games Friday and one each Saturday and Sunday.
