Hamilton – Three Colgate Women’s Ice Hockey members have been named to their respective all-USCHO teams, announced by USCHO Wednesday afternoon.
Danielle Serdachny was named All-USCHO First Team. She finished the season with a total of 71 points, with 25 goals and 46 assists. The senior captain ranked second nationally in assists per game and fourth in game-winning goals.
The Edmonton, Alberta native took home various awards this season, including being named a Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award runner-up, ECAC Hockey Player and Forward of the year, the Wayne Dean Sportsmanship Award, All-ECAC First Team, and the CCM/AHCA All-American First Team.
Serdachny was recently added to the Hockey Canada Women’s World Championships roster, as she’s the first active player in program history to be named to the roster.
Senior defenseman Allyson Simpson was named All-USCHO Second Team as well as Third Team All-ECAC this season. Simpson had 5 goals and 27 assists, totalling 32 points.
Simpson played a strong two-way game throughout the season, ranking second on the team in plus/minus with +32. She led the Raiders with along with 71 blocked shots.
The Texas native joined the U.S. Women’s National Team in Blaine, Minn. at the Evaluation Camp ahead of the 2023 women’s world championships.
Kristýna Kaltounková was named to the All-USCHO Third Team for the second time in her career. She also was named to the All-ECAC Third Team for the 2022-23 season.
The junior forward helped Colgate achieve the best power-play percentage in the nation, tallying nine power-play goals, ranked first nationally.
Kaltounková scored 24 goals and 33 assists for 57 points. She ranked second on the team in game-winning goals with four. The Vlasim, Czech Republic native tallied her 100th career point in Colgate’s 6-2 win over Princeton.
All three players will be returning for the 2023-24 season.
