After a back-and-forth 40 minutes of play, Syracuse pulled away in the third to cruise to a 6-3 victory Saturday night.
Hartford Wolf Pack (11-4-0-5) – 3
Syracuse Crunch (10-6-2-0) – 6

While on a short-handed breakaway Mitchell Stephens was slashed which resulted in a penalty shot being awarded.
