SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse Crunch are raffling off player-made baskets to benefit Change For Change during the team’s home games this Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9.
Each Crunch player created a basket filled with their favorite things, including snacks, movies, activities and more. The baskets will be available for viewing on the second floor of the Upstate Medical University Arena during the April 8 and 9 games. Starting April 8 at 6 p.m., fans will be able to purchase raffle tickets through the team’s GiveSmart platform by texting CRUNCH to 76278. The raffles will close April 9 at 9 p.m. and winners will be notified via text. Shipping is available at an additional cost.

Change for Change is a fundraising initiative created by Crunch players that was inspired by a boy named Griffin Engle during the 2014-15 season. It aims to raise money for pediatric cancer research at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and Upstate Cancer Center and help improve the odds for children with cancer.
