Six Earn AHCA All-America Scholar Honors

Six Syracuse ice hockey student-athletes were among the honorees for the 2021-22 Krampade/AHCA All-America Scholars list. Graduate student Jessica DiGirolamo, senior Arielle DeSmet, sophomores Sarah Thompson and Tatum White, and freshman Erin Brousseau and Terryn Mozes.


DiGirolamo is a four-time honoree, DeSmet is a three-time honoree, Thompson and White are two-time honorees, and Brousseau and Mozes earned the honor for the first time.


These student-athletes had to maintain a 3.75 or higher GPA for each semester and appear in 40 percent of the games. All six student-athletes were also named to the 2021-22 CHA All-Academic team.


The Orange won the College Hockey American (CHA) regular season championship and tournament championship in 2021-22 earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament. ‘Cuse finished the season with a 15-11-6 record.
