Serdachny Earns HCA Player of the Month Honors

HAMILTON – Colgate women’s ice hockey senior Danielle Serdachny was announced as the Hockey Commissioners Association Player of the Month Wednesday. It is the first time in her career that she has earned the honor. 

The Edmonton, Alberta native has eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points, which is tied for first in the nation. Serdachny has only been held off the scoresheet once this season, recording five multi-point nights.

Serdachny is averaging 1.91 points per game this season, collecting eight points in Colgate’s weekend sweep over RIT. 

Captain Serdachny sits fifth all-time in career points at Colgate with 129 and is second all-time in career assists with 87.

The Raiders are off to a great start, sitting at 10-1 as they head into another conference matchup against No. 10 Clarkson on Friday. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m.
