Norwich University’s 11th Northfield Savings Bank Men’s Hockey Holiday Tournament scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 1 and Sunday, Jan. 2 has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols and will not be rescheduled this season.
The Hamilton College Continentals were set to play nationally ranked No. 8 Norwich on Saturday at 7 p.m., and then either Williams College or the University of New England in the consolation or championship game on Sunday. Hamilton was supposed to play in a tournament at SUNY Canton that was also canceled back in November.
The Continentals, who are 4-2-0 overall and 3-1 in the NESCAC, are scheduled to host Bowdoin College for a conference game at Russell Sage Rink on Friday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. The Polar Bears are 1-4-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the NESCAC, but have contests scheduled for Jan. 2 and Jan. 4.
