Hamilton College

Friday, February 1st

Hamilton 8-9-2 (6-5-2, NESCAC) – 1
Colby 8-8-3 (5-6-2, NESCAC) – 4

Rory Gagnon scored the only Continentals goal while on the power-play at 18:57 of the first. There was no scoring in the second before Colby scored four unanswered incudling one empty netter to defeat Hamilton 4-1. Anthony Tirabassi made 19 saves.

Saturday, February 2nd

Hamilton 9-9-2 (7-5-2, NESCAC) – 4
Bowdoin 6-12-2 (3-10-1, NESCAC) – 3

Bowdoin got out to a 3-0 lead before Hamilton scored four in a row to erase the deficit and take the lead. Jon Beniers scored on the power-play at 8:46 of the second assisted by Bennett Morrison and Joey Moore. Jason Brochu cut the Bowdoin lead to 3-2 at 15:29 assisted by Josh Labonte. In the third, Brochu scored again, this time short-handed, tying the game 3-3 2:36 into the period. Three and a half minutes later Nick Ursitti scored a power-play goal which would stand as the game winner. Tirabassi was in net again,this time finishing with 16 saves.

BOX SCORE

Hamilton travels East again this weekend where they will take on Connecticut College at 7:00pm Friday followed by Tufts at 4:00pm Saturday.

Morrisville State

Friday, February 1st

Brockport 13-6-2 (5-5-2, SUNYAC) – 6
Morrisville 4-14-2 (2-10-1, SUNYAC) – 1

Brockport was up 5-0 midway through the second when Nick DeVito scored on the power-play to get the Mustangs on the board. Assisting on the goal was Aidan Conolly and CJ Stubbs. Brockport added another goal in the third for the 6-1 final. Jared Young stopped 29 shots in the loss.

Saturday, February 2nd

Brockport 14-6-2 65-5-2, SUNYAC) – 5
Morrisville 4-15-2 (2-11-1, SUNYAC) – 1

Much like the night before, Brockport got out to a big lead early (4-0) before Morrisville was able to find the board. It was DeVito once again with assists going to Tristan Archambault and CJ Stubbs. Jorgen Johnson was in net for the Mustangs and finished with 23 saves.

BOX SCORE

Morrisville has a home-and-home with SUNY Canton this weekend. They will travel to Canton Friday for a 7:00pm puck drop before hosting the Roos Saturday at 7:00pm.

Utica College

Friday, February 1st

Elmira 11-8-2 (9-3-2, UCHC) – 1
Utica 12-6-2 (9-3-1, UCHC) – 1

Tyler Pietrowski scored the lone Pioneers goal to tie the game at one 14 minutes through the second period.

Despite having five power-plays UC couldn’t find the go ahead goal and the game officially ended in a tie. Gianluca Baggetta finished with 25 saves.

The UCHC implemented a new rule for this season which meant the game would continue to a 3-on-3 overtime period with a key league point still up for grabs. Dan Fritz scored on a backhander in that extra period to give UC the extra point in the standings.

Saturday, February 2nd

Lebanon Valley 7-12-2 (5-8-2, UCHC) – 2
Utica 13-6-2 (10-3-1, UCHC) – 6

UC rolled out to a 4-0 lead in the first period including a penalty shot goal by Shawn Lunch for the first score of the game.

Conor Landirgan, Lynch again, and Brandong Young (power-play) also scored for the Pioneers. Lebanon Valley cut the lead to 4-1 before the break. They then scored another in the second making it 4-2. Zach Borsoi put the Pioneers back ahead by three goals late in the second before JT Entelisano added another in the third. Baggetta finished with 28 saves.

BOX SCORE

The Pioneers hit the road this weekend for two UCHC games at 7:00pm in Chatham Friday before heading to Stevenson for a 3:00pm puck drop Saturday afternoon.
