Hamilton College’s Hyla Mosher ’23 (Hudson, Quebec/The Hotchkiss School [Conn.]) was selected the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women’s Hockey Player of the Week on Monday, Feb. 14.

Mosher helped lead the Continentals to two conference wins against Wesleyan University as she posted five points this past weekend. She recorded her first hat trick at Hamilton and added an assist in a 5-2 victory on Friday night. She picked up a primary assist on the second goal early in the third period, and the Continentals held on for a 2-1 triumph on Saturday afternoon. She won 23 of 43 faceoffs during the weekend series.

Mosher is eighth in the NESCAC with 16 points and tied for fifth with 10 assists. She is also tied for 14th with six goals.

Hamilton wraps up its regular season with two conference games at Connecticut College on Friday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 19. The Continentals (10-8-0 overall) are in third place in the NESCAC standings with a 7-7 conference record.
