Morrisville women outgained by Plattsburgh 7-1

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women’s ice hockey dropped the second of the weekend’s action Saturday, as nationally ranked no. 3 Plattsburgh State collected the 7-1 league win in Northeast Women’s Hockey League (NEWHL) action in Morrisville.

  • Plattsburgh added to their total in the second with three more tallies, before adding a final goal in the third for the win.
  • Emma Plett (Gunthral, Man.) recorded the loss between the pipes, registering 26 saves across 37 minutes of action before Maggie Jones (Marystown, N.L.) finished out the remaining 23:04 to collect 24 stops.
