The return of hockey in Central New York is in full swing as Hamilton College and Morrisville State have released their Men’s and Women’s ice hockey schedules for the 2022-23 seasons. The Morrisville State Mustangs Men’s and Women’s Teams kick off their season on Saturday, October 29th. The Men’s Team will play on the road against Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. The Women’s Team will take on William Smith College at home in the Morrisville IcePlex. The Men’s Team will play their first home game on November 2nd against Geneseo.
Both Morrisville programs are members of the SUNYAC conference and play their home games at the Morrisville IcePlex located on the Morrisville State campus in Morrisville, NY. The Men’s team is coached by Kevin Krogol and will play twenty-five regular season games this season. The Utica Junior Comets Season Begins This Friday
The Hamilton College Continentals Men’s and Women’s Teams start their respective seasons in mid-November. The Women’s Team will start their season on Friday, November 18th in Amherst, Massachusetts to take on the Amherst Mammoths. The Men’s Team will join them the following night and they will play Amherst as well. The first home game for the Women’s Team is on November 22nd against Morrisville, while the Men’s Team plays their first home game on December 2nd against Trinity.
The Women’s Team is coached by Emily McNamara and will play twenty-four regular season games. The Men’s Team is coached by Rob Haberbusch and will have twenty-four regular season games as well. Both teams belong to the NESCAC conference and play their home games at the historic Sage Rink – Delaney Team Center.
