Utica Jr Comets (3-6-0-0) – 3
Rockets Hockey Club (12-2-0-0) – 7
It has been a rough start to the season for the Jr Comets Premier team. With COVID-19 restricting any hockey from being played in the New York the team is travelling out of state for every game. Yesterday afternoon they were in New Jersey to take on Rockets Hockey Club. The Rockets are 2nd in the Mid Atlantic Division and 5th overall in the entire 62 team Premier Conference. Utica is currently 8th in the division and 45th in the conference.
Anthony Morin opened the scoring for Utica 11:54 into the game. Andrew Manley gained possession of the puck following a neutral zone faceoff. As he was pressured from a Rockets player he fed a pass to the middle of the ice to Morin. Morin skated into the zone and fired a shot that found its way into the back of the net.
