The last time the Lakers faced off against Geneseo was in the SUNYAC Championship game Mar. 7, 2020. This game resulted in the Lakers fourth straight loss to the Knights.

Geneseo controlled the pace, scoring just 1:33 into the contest. The Lakers tied the game halfway through the first period. After the Lakers first goal, Geneseo ran away, scoring three unanswered, earning their third SUNYAC Championship in a row.

Oswego looks to turn their recent luck around against the Knights. With a young core, many newcomers have stepped up for the Lakers. They look to continue this trend against SUNYAC rival Geneseo.

Oswego’s all-time record against Geneseo is 61-31-6. Their total goal count in the 98 games is 487, giving them an average goals count of 4.97 per game. In the team’s last 10 matchups the Lakers are 2-5-3 dating back to Nov. 5, 2016.
