Men’s Ice Hockey Features Teddy Bear Toss

OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men’s Ice Hockey teams will host their annual Teddy Bear Toss this weekend on Saturday at 7pm against the Mustangs of Morrisville. The game of the week will also feature a farewell event for President Deborah F. Stanley before puck drop.

The Lakers will take on the Mustangs of Morrisville this Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7pm. The last time the Lakers faced off against the Mustangs was Feb. 15, 2020. This game resulted in the Lakers 17th straight victory over the SUNYAC foe. This win streak for the Lakers dates back to Feb. 4, 2012.

Oswego’s all-time record against Cortland is 26-1-2. Their total goal count in the 29 games is 158, giving them an average goals count of 5.48 per game.

Once the Laker score their first goal, fans are asked the throw their teddy bears directly on the ice surface, in partnership with SEFA and the Oswego State Blue Line Club all teddy bears will be donated to Toys for Tots

A virtual option is still available at Oswego.edu/sefa for those that are unable to make the physical event. Online donations will be welcomed until Dec. 4 at 11:59pm.
