Men’s Hockey Climbs to #4 In USCHO Poll


UTICA, NY – The Utica University men’s ice hockey team has ascended into fourth in the latest US College Hockey Online Division III Men’s Top 15. The weekly rankings were published on Monday afternoon by the national college hockey website. 

They moved up from their previous sixth place ranking, while fourth is their second-highest ranking of the season. Utica opened the season ranked in third. 

The UCHC leaders are now 6-2 overall, with a 6-0 record in United Collegiate Hockey Conference play. They are riding a six-game winning streak heading into this weekend’s Utica Thanksgiving Showcase. 

The Pioneers continue a long run as a ranked team. The last time the team was unranked was in the February 11th, 2019 edition of the poll. 

The Blue and Orange will welcome Trine and Plymouth State this weekend for the Utica Thanksgiving Showcase.
