Attention all local hockey players! Are you ready to take your game to the next level and showcase your skills to junior, college and professional coaches? Then don’t miss out on the upcoming Long Island College & Junior Showcase presented by Player Rep 24/7! This is your chance to demonstrate your talent and impress the top decision-makers in the hockey world.
The showcase will be held on June 10th and 11th at the New York Islanders practice facility, Northwell Ice Center in East Meadow, New York. This event promises to be a unique experience for players looking to showcase their talents in front of top-level coaches.
Coaches from various leagues including NCAA DI, NCAA DIII, NAHL, USHL, USPHL, EHL, NA3HL, and more will be on the bench, directly interacting with players instead of sitting in the stands like most showcases. Each team will be coached by a top junior, college, or pro coach. The showcase promises to provide an opportunity for players to receive direct feedback from coaches, improving their skills and game.
Howie’s Hockey will be providing jerseys, socks, tape, and wax for all players. The showcase cost is $500 per player. A second option includes the showcase and one year of player advisory services from Player Rep 24/7 for $2,000. Player Rep 24/7 provides players with guidance and support, helping them navigate the recruiting process, academic requirements, contract negotiations, and other aspects of the hockey world.
The showcase will consist of at least three teams playing in a round-robin format on Saturday, June 10th followed by a championship game or all-star game on Sunday, June 11th. The showcase will be featured on HockeyTV, allowing players to get additional exposure to college and junior hockey programs.
