UTICA, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women’s Hockey team traveled to Utica to take on the Pioneers this evening. The Lakers fell to the Pioneers by a score of 5-0 this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Utica got on the board first with a goal coming in with just four minutes left in the first period.
Lexi Levy recorded 12 saves in the first period, the Lakers would trail by one going into the second.
The Pioneers would score their second goal of the evening just five minutes into the second period, making the score 2-0.
Just five minutes later, Utica would score again and give them a three point lead.
Levy would add five more saves in the second, giving her 17 through the second period.
The Pioneers would net their fourth goal of the evening 15 minutes into the final period on an empty net, giving them a four point lead over the Lakers.
Just three minutes later, the Pioneers would net their fifth and final goal of the evening. The Lakers would fall by a score of 5-0. Levy would finish with 21 saves on the evening.

The Lakers will travel to Plattsburgh on Friday, January 13th to take on the Cardinals. The puck drop is scheduled for 3pm.
