Williams (1-2-0, 1-2-0 NESCAC) – 5
Williams, who received votes in last weeks USCHO.com Division III poll, picked up it’s first win of the season defeating Hamilton 5-1 Friday night.
Williams took a 2-0 lead into the third period where Nancy Loh finally broke through for the Continentals. Mya Berretta dug the puck out of the corner and sent it to Lexi Takashima at the point. Her wrist shot was redirected by Loh past the Williams goaltender.
The Ephs scored three more goals over a 3:18 span to take a 5-1 lead. Hamilton was out-shot 31-12. Gab Venne finished with 26 saves for Hamilton.

Williams (2-2-0, 2-2-0 NESCAC) – 3
Williams continued their offensive onslaught on Saturday afternoon and took a 1-0 lead at 11:19 of the first period. Kate Piacenza tied the score 6:26 into the second period. Kelli Mackey threaded a pass through traffic to Piacenza at the back post for a quick redirect.
Williams took the lead just over two minutes later, and added an insurance goal with 29 seconds left in the period. In reverse of the night before, Hamilton out-shot Williams 38 to 20. Sammy Johnson was in goal for the Continentals.
Hamilton will play their home opener Tuesday at 1:00pm against the Morrisville State Mustangs.
