Hamilton College Continentals Men’s Hockey Vs Middlebury Game Preview 12-09-2022

The Hamilton College Continentals Men’s Hockey Team (3-3-0 overall, 1-2-0 NESCAC) will host the Middlebury Panthers (1-5-0 overall, 1-3-0 NESCAC) in a NESCAC clash at Russell Sage Rink on College Hill in Clinton, NY on Friday night.

Last weekend, the Continentals split the two games they played. On Friday night, they upset the then-eleventh-ranked Trinity Bantams at home by a score of 3-1. Joy turned to disappointment the following day, as Hamilton in heartbreaking fashion to the Wesleyan Cardinals, dropped a 4-3 decision in overtime.

Middlebury has struggled so far this season, having won only one game. That one win, however, came last Friday night against Connecticut College. Like the Continentals, they would lose the next day as they fell to Tufts.

With both teams looking to move up in the NESCAC standings, let’s take a look at how the Hamilton College Continentals and Middlebury Panthers match up against each other.
