DiGirolamo Repeats as CHA Defenseman of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – For the second week in a row Syracuse graduate student Jessica DiGirolamo is the College Hockey America Defenseman of the Week. The Orange captain scored two goals and had one assist in Syracuse’s weekend series at Lindenwood. She scored the game-winning goal with less than six minutes remaining in Friday’s 3-1 victory. DiGirolamo also had 14 shots on goal and six blocked shots.
She has 80 career points, including 29 goals and 51 assists, which ties for eighth on the Syracuse career record list and is eight in the CHA for assists by a defenseman. Her 80 career points is ninth in Syracuse history. Her 51 assists
The Orange will play a home-and-home series against RIT on Friday, November 5th in Syracuse and Saturday, November 6th in Rochester.
