After celebrating Silver Puck Weekend at home last Friday and Saturday, the Colgate Raiders Men’s Hockey Team (2-5-1 overall, 0-0-0 ECAC) hits the road this weekend. Last weekend’s opponent was the Vermont Catamounts, whom they lost to on Friday night by a score of 2-1, and skated to a 1-1 tie the next day (although the Catamounts won the shootout). This weekend’s road trip will open the Raider’s ECAC schedule and begins on Friday night with a game against the seventh-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats.
The Bobcats (3-1-2 overall, 0-0-0 ECAC, split their two-game series last weekend against the Maine Black Bears. Two weeks ago, they had a huge weekend, earning a win and a tie against the then-number three-ranked North Dakota Fighting Hawks. Friday night’s game against Colgate will open Quinnipiac’s ECAC schedule as well.
