The Colgate Raiders Men’s Hockey Team (1-3-0 overall, 0-0-0 ECAC) returns to action this weekend after taking their longest road trip of the season to the State of Arizona to play the Arizona State Sun Devils. While in the desert, the Raiders picked up their first win of the season, a convincing 4-0 win last Saturday night. This weekend’s slate of games will not require a cross-country flight, as they will stay in the northeast when they travel to Lawler Rink in North Andover, MA to take on the Merrimack College Warriors (2-1-0 overall, 1-0-0 Hockey East) on Friday and Saturday nights.

Colgate and Merrimack are not strangers to one another, as they have played each other twenty-two times since 1961 (Merrimack has won eleven of those games, Colgate has won nine, and there are two ties). The last time the teams played each other was on October 16th, 2021 – a game which Merrimack won by a score of 5-3. With both teams coming off of victories in the last games they played (Merrimack defeated New Hampshire by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday), here’s how the Raiders and Warriors stack up against one another.
