Miami of Ohio (1-3-2) – 3
Colgate (1-3-2) – 3
After being ahead 3-1 after two periods Colgate had to settle for a 3-3 tie Friday night in Hamilton.
Paul McAvoy scored 7:11 into the opening period to give Colgate an early 1-0 lead. McAvoy and Liam Watson-Brawn set up a nice give-and-go play that concluded in a 1-0 lead for the Raiders.

It only took 22 seconds for the Redhawks to tie the game, but Colgate found the back of the net once more before the end of the period. Ben Sharf scored at 17:17 giving the Raiders a 2-1 lead heading into the locker room. Bobby McMann and Tyler Penner assisted.
McAvoy netted his second of the night at 11:10 of the second putting Colgate ahead 3-1, but Miami came storming back in the third. The Redhawks scored 35 seconds into the period and tied things up at 2:47 of the period. The game went into overtime where each team only managed 1 shot on goal. Mitch Benson finished with 25 saves for Colgate.

Colgate (1-4-2) – 0
Not a whole lot to say about this one. Miami scored two first period goals at 1:08 and 17:03 of the period and skated to a 2-0 victory. Colgate finished the game with a 29 to 19 shot advantage. Benson was in goal once again for the Raiders.
Colgate only has one game this upcoming weekend, a 7:00pm start Friday night in Providence.
