CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – For the second time this season, Colgate women’s ice hockey player Sydney Bard was named ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Bard was a defensive specialist for the Raiders this past weekend, tallying three assists through two wins on the road.
The New Hartford native has recorded a point-per-game through 14 games this season, scoring two goals and 12 assists. Bard logged three assists in Colgate’s late night thriller over Harvard last Saturday.
The Raiders take the week off as they prepare for a road trip to face off against reigning National Champions Ohio State University in a two-game series. Puck drop is set for Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m.
