315hockey.com has launched its own weekly show available on YouTube, Spotify, and the website.

Central New York now has its own hockey show with the launch of 315 Hockey Live! Mike Verminski and Scott Kinville of 315hockey.com along with producer Dave Warner of My Little Falls will bring fans the show every week on the all-new 315 Hockey Live YouTube channel, the 315 Hockey Facebook page, 315hockey.com, and across all My Little Falls platforms as well. The show will be available live on Tuesday nights at 7 pm EST, but occasionally the show will be on a different night other than Tuesday to accommodate scheduling.

The creation of 315 Hockey Live is the continuation of a new partnership formed between 315hockey.com and the former martysillegalstick.com. Verminski founded 315hockey.com as a news hub for hockey in central New York while Kinville was covering primarily the Utica Comets and Utica University Pioneers on his martysillegalstick.com website. It made sense to both Verminski and Kinville to “combine forces” and as a result, all coverage that was on Marty’s Illegal Stick website will now be on 315hockey.com (the Marty’s Illegal Stick podcast continues on as a hockey history podcast).

After combining their websites, Verminski and Kinville realized that while local teams do a tremendous job getting their own content out, there was no YouTube show/podcast that is dedicated solely to the Central New York hockey scene – thus 315 Hockey Live was born! 315 Hockey Live will feature guests and news from all levels of hockey in the region – from the AHL and college all the way through Juniors and High School. As the trailer says “you can get NHL news just about anywhere, but 315 Hockey Live and 315hockey.com are the go-to source for Central New York news and analysis”.

To celebrate the launch of the new show, 315 Hockey Live is having a contest! Last season, the Utica Comets held a “Martin Brodeur Night” and gave away bobbleheads of the legendary goaltender. Those bobbleheads immediately became a highly sought-after item, and thanks to 315 Hockey Live, you can win an unopened, in-the-box Martin Brodeur in his Utica Devils uniform bobblehead of your own! All you have to do is subscribe to the 315 Hockey Live YouTube channel and like the post shown below on the 315 Hockey Facebook page – it’s that easy! The winner will be drawn live on the air during the October 4th episode of 315 Hockey Live.
